Summary
This website doesn’t use advertising or social media cookies. It only uses Google Analytics cookies, to see which pages get visited, if you accept them in the cookie notice; otherwise nothing from Google is loaded. The rest are essential technical cookies.
What a cookie is
It’s a small file a website stores in your browser to remember something. Spanish law (article 22.2 of the LSSI, the Information Society Services Act) requires asking for permission before using them, except for those that are essential for the website to work and audience measurement cookies that meet the conditions set by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Cloudflare security cookies
The website runs through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks. If it detects unusual traffic, it may store a technical cookie (for example __cf_bm) to tell people apart from bots. It’s essential for security, lasts 30 minutes at most and isn’t used for advertising.
Cookies for the non-distribution agreement
Only if you log in with Discord on the non-distribution agreement page (/en/TOS/) do we store two technical cookies, which are essential to know who you are while you accept it. “mcfg_contrato_estado” lasts at most 10 minutes, while you go to Discord and back; “mcfg_contrato” keeps your Discord ID and nick, signed, for 30 minutes. They aren’t used for anything else and are deleted when you log out.
Google Analytics (only if you accept)
If you click “Accept” in the cookie notice, the website loads Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager, services provided by Google Ireland Limited. We use it to see how many visits there are, which pages are read, which website you came from and what kind of device you use, always in aggregate. We don’t use it for advertising or profiling.
Google Analytics stores the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies for up to 2 years to tell visits apart. Google may process this data in the United States, with the safeguards of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can find more in Google’s privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
If you click “Reject”, nothing from Google is loaded. Your choice is saved in your browser so we don’t ask again, and you can change it any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page: if you withdraw your consent, we delete those cookies.
Language preference
The first time you visit, the website checks your browser’s language to show you the page in Spanish, English, Italian or French; that only lasts while you keep the tab open. If you pick a language with the ES · EN · IT · FR selector, the website saves it in your browser (localStorage) so it doesn’t switch it again. It only remembers what you chose, isn’t used to track you and you can delete it from your browser settings.
Discord clicks
The “Join the Discord” buttons go through this website’s /discord/ address, which takes you to the invite. The server logs the date, which button you came from and your browser to count how many people join. It doesn’t store your IP or anything that identifies you, and the log is deleted after 14 days.
Content and links from other websites
We don’t embed TikTok or YouTube videos: links to those networks and to Discord take you to their website, where their own cookie and privacy policies apply.
How to delete or block cookies
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge…). The website works just the same without them.
Minors
If you’re under 14, show this page to your parent or guardian. To join Discord from Spain you must be at least 14 years old.
Changes
If we change any of this you’ll see it here, along with the date of the last update.
